A very yellow spring

Well whatever it was about the conditions this winter it has certainly produced a bumper crop of dandelions that were quickly followed by buttercups this year. Verges were lined with yellow and looking magnificent. As indeed was the field and as the grass began to grow it very quickly turned to a field of gold. It was a great reminder that there would be more to come this year without the grazing that usually takes place.

We’ll look forward to sharing more from the field in coming months.
