Hedge plant replacement

Another lovely morning up on Wild Maple Field. A great turn out of fabulous volunteers who helped replace trees and shrubs that had died off in the new hedge. We also planted new holly in the existing boundary hedgerow and added mulch to retain moisture and supress grass growth.

Thanks to the kind people who donated chairs for the field - they are hugely appreciated. We do like a cake-break!

And to the kestrel whose vocal hunting display kept us very entertained.
