Butterflies and caterpillars

Volunteers are undertaking weekly butterfly transects on the field. Butterfly transects are a way of measuring changes in the abundance and variety of butterflies present at a site from year to year. What differences will we see from last season…? Our experienced lepidopterists are sharing their knowledge and we’ve been able to spot favourite caterpillar nursery sites.
