Looking after the new hedge

During July, we tried to keep the competing vegetation in check next to the new hedge plants to give the trees a good start. All that rain has certainly suited the grasses! The work was a bit overpowering for our battery-operated strimmer, but Rosemary did a fabulous job going back to basics using the scythe.
