Autumn work party dates

Autumn work parties:

We are proposing to hold regular work parties on the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 10am - 1pm. Everyone is welcome. The work is not generally particularly hard or arduous - especially if there are plenty of volunteers to help!

  Thursday 26th 10am -1pm

  Tasks - remove soil from pond each to prevent it washing in when it rains

  Cut back ragwort and some creeping thistle

  Mark up dead trees for replacing in November onwards

  October

  Saturday 12th 10am -1pm

  Monday 21st 10am -1pm

  Tasks - more work on pond area

  November 

  Saturday 9th 10am -1pm

  Thursday 21st 10am -1pm

  Tasks - start replacing dead trees

  December 

  Saturday 14th 10am -1pm

  Tasks - more work on trees

Please bring:

• Clothes to keep you warm and dry

• Sturdy shoes or boots - the ground is uneven and often wet

• Gardening gloves (though we have some spares to lend)

• A drink

• Secateurs or a trowel could be useful if you have them - other tools will be available on the day.
