Welcome spring

What a lovely way to spend a morning! Sowing seeds and planting lime-loving plants on the limestone bank with friendly folks.

The owl box is in place - we’ve waited through the winter for suitable expertise and weather conditions to finally get it up the tree. All ready now to welcome occupants.
Our super new larch bench is also ready for visitors - thanks to all the diggers and carriers for getting it in place. It truly is in a wonderful position for passers-by to rest and take in the view. There are two beautiful benches on the public section of the field - ‘Harlan’s Bench’ (thanks to TDP) in the woodland section, and ‘Simon’s Bench’ (thanks to Matt Robinson) where the footpath exits the Field at the top of the hill. They bring opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of nature.
